Charting Success: Rikha’s Journey to Excellence

Rikha Upadhyay, founder director of ‘B The Social’ has in the last few years faced many ups and downs like any other individual passionate of his / her career. Just one thing that she always believed of herself was that she was not someone who was going to end up doing a job – and today she is just realizing her ambition.

Her early days saw her just as a common girl with very common hobby of coin collection. Little did she knew that this common hobby would over the years help her mark a massive milestone. With the support of her numismatic uncle this hobby started to grow and slowly she started taking part in coin exhibitions and also started sharing her knowledge to young students through free and voluntary coin exhibitions in schools and malls as she always believed to be of help to the society in any small way possible. Her coin collection kept growing over the years and after all hard efforts through eight years, finally her ‘definitive’ as well as her ‘commemorative’ coin collections got recognized in the ‘Limca Book of Records’. It was indeed a matter of pride not only for her but also for her family and her school as till date no one from her school, collage or locality had ever reached anywhere near to entering India’s first ever record book.

As Rikha says: “the biggest part of my life that I carry today is my ‘identity’ – my ‘Astitva’. My Papa calls me ‘Panchi’ as he always wishes to see me fly high and add feathers to my identity.”

Rikha always knew that with right intentions and positive mindset she would hit her targets well. Time and patience were the actual keys. She needed to learn her subjects well. She started with her career courses. By the time she completed her courses, she started her dream project ‘B The Social’ and also started doing job in numismatic field, earned good experience – got some more experience and made sure to give quality time to her dream ‘B The Social’.

Rikha always had a heart and dream to contribute toward any social cause and she made sure that her company’s first contribution be in the right benefits. She shook hands with an NGO ‘Satyanveshi Foundation’ in co organizing a musical event ‘Panchi – Pehli Udaan Astitva Ki…’ which provides young students a platform beyond every boundary to express themselves with all the joy and colors in the form of smiles and music with complete freedom. ‘Panchi’ visualizes to continue its musical journey spreading educational and social messages and awareness through young children and hopefully contribute in keeping them connected with Indian traditional values, history, heritage and culture.

Presently, ‘Panchi’ is completely dedicated to ‘FAITH’ (Fight Against Thalassemia) and through this musical event ‘B The Social’ along with ‘Satyanveshi Foundation’ are dedicated to bring awareness and contribute to beget regular blood donors for thalassemia patients.

The spark in Rikha Upadhyay’s eyes clearly sees that her journey with ‘B The Social’ has only started and it’s still a long way, it’s happening, its promising and she is well determined.

Finally, though business and jobs are the most important part of any individual’s journey but every person should also remember that there is just no alternative to one’s moral duties. Today, social media has become an essential part of the modern customer journey, underlining the importance of social media marketing for businesses of all sizes. But Social media also has a major role to play toward social causes, toward people with disabilities, toward spreading awareness and toward forwarding a helping hand in any positive way possible is how Rikha believes as she prepares herself for a step further.
