Kindness, Vision, and Change: LOSD’s Inspiring Summer 2025
In July 2025, Scotland is set to witness something more powerful than politics or profits — the magic of kindness. It will be a summer in Scotland that will never be forgotten, as the launch of the Book of Kindness brings stories from around the globe. It will be launched on July 16th. The “Book of Kindness,” curated by LOSD and led by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, is not just a book; it is a collection of real people’s emotional journeys. These stories talk about how a simple act of goodness helped someone, changed their life, or even healed hearts. People from many countries have shared their stories, and they will be honoured at the grand launch in Scotland. This book is proof that kindness still lives and grows strong. LOSD invited people from around the world to submit their stories (500 words) by May 30, 2025, to be included in these powerful books. Please email your story to admin@losd.co.uk On the same day as the Book of Kindness launch, LOSD will also release another special coffee table book — “25 Visionaries of the World 2025.” It will be an event honouring real-life heroes with real impact, marked by the launch of '25 Visionaries of the World 2025,' celebrating changemakers. This coffee table book brings into light the stories of powerful leaders who are working to make the world better. From education to environment, from healthcare to human rights — these 25 people have made big changes in their own ways. The idea behind this book is simple: celebrate those who lead with heart and courage. It’s a moment of pride for each person included and an inspiration for the world. If you are a visionary and would like to inspire global society, you can submit 500 words of your journey as a global leader by May 30th, 2025 to Losd via admin@losd.co.uk In the peaceful setting of a luxury castle in Glasgow, LOSD will hold a four-day Transformational retreat from July 14th to 17th. But this is no ordinary holiday. The 4 day retreat is filled with yoga , breath work , workshops, panel discussions on technology, self-confidence, and healthy living. It is designed for business owners, leaders, and dreamers who want to grow both personally and professionally. It’s a place where peace meets power. The highlight of this event will be the LOSD Excellence Awards, which will honour people who have done great work in society.
