VIBGYOR Group of Schools recognized as ET Best Brand 2024
Founder Chairman Rustom Kerawalla’s VIBGYOR Group of Schools, the most well-known network of K12 schools in India, was recognized as ET Best Brand 2024 for the third time in a row. The theme for this year’s ET Best Brand Conclave was ‘From Vision to Impact: The Best Brands of Tomorrow’.
VIBGYOR Director – Academics, Shim Mathew, received the award along with his team members and was ecstatic about the win. On receiving the award, Shim Mathew pointed out how in today’s digital age, connecting with people is the strongest marketing exercise one can practice for their own brand.
Vice-Chairperson Kavita Kerawalla pointed out how these important recognitions reiterate VIBGYOR’s promise of nurturing future-ready leaders. Commenting on the ET Best Brand acknowledgement, she said, “As an educator, receiving the ET Best Brand is a recognition of VIBGYOR’s holistic approach to our students’ development. This is not just a milestone but a celebration of the trust parents place in us and the dedication of our incredible team to nurturing future-ready leaders.”
While collecting the award, Shim Mathew said, "A brand is remembered for the way it connects with people, has a recall value and gives people more than what they had asked for. The emotions that are connected with the brand is why people will keep coming back and that's what VIBGYOR does."
In 2024, VIBGYOR expanded further and connected with a wider network of parents and students as they announced two new schools in Maharashtra.
At the event, Shim Mathew was also asked about the importance of human-centric marketing to build lasting customer relationships. Rightly pointing out the importance of human elements, he said, “Education is all about connections. In this digital age, one cannot take away the connections we build with all our stakeholders. Our stakeholders are parents, students and teachers. There is no way these connections can be built just with technology – you need a human element.”
Shim further added, “In this day and age where technology seems to have taken us further away, our involvement with children and students is what will keep us going. Eventually, students will graduate and move out, but as long as they are with us, we strive to build a deep connection which they will remember and recall for a long time to come.”
The ET Best Brand 2024 was an amalgamation of industry-relevant panel discussions, fireside chats and talks from industry veterans such as Prahlad Kakkar. Several brands from different industries such as FMCG, Healthcare and Pharma, BFSI, Infrastructure, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail and E-commerce were recognized for their contribution in their respective categories.
